Then I decided to test this before I go to real pages I test it first at my terminal. First, I used PHP but found out difficulty at reading serial port then i've read that it's not good at real time communication so I started to switch to nodeJS. I'm planning to create a real time presentation of data to a webpage from arduino. The device should respond with 0x02-0x15. My program tries to guess if the encoder is present at the specified port by sending the byte sequence 0x02-0xF8-0x31-0x03, which is an invalid command for the device. Using minicom on the second Pi shows my message Hello is received. However, by connecting a second Pi, I can show that the write method in this class does work and can transmit. If the Pi is buffering them, then I dont know how to point to the start of the buffer and read it. I'm new at NodeJS and I'm having a hard time solving my problem. Using the mobo's built-in RS232 port as well as a PCIe 4xRS232 card yield the same results, so the ports do not seem to be at fault here. Gambas Serial Port Send Receive How To Point To. Firstly, I apologize if this issue has been posted before, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere.
